TAS Divisional Council

The Occupational Therapy Australia Tasmanian Divisional Council represents the interests and provides advice to support the members affiliated with the Division.

The Council comprises OTA members from across the state who bring a diversity of skills and experience to the Association. Council members welcome and value member input and feedback. Fiona O'Keefe | North West (Chair)

Fiona received her Bachelor of Applied Science, Occupational Therapy from Lincoln Institute of Health sciences in 1982, working in country Victoria until 1995. She moved to Tasmania with her family and has worked in paediatrics since then, developing a special interest children's continence, especially regarding children with developmental disabilities.

Kerri Roberts | North

Kerri has worked in clinical, non-clinical, management and leadership roles for over 30 years in government, NGO and private sectors, in several Australian states and overseas. Her experience ranges from acute hospitals to rural generalist roles, across the lifespan and diverse clinical cohorts, in project positions and quality standards & accreditation programs.

Jeannie McClymont | North West

Jeannie has worked for over 30 years as an occupational therapist across many practice settings, including community health, acute hospitals and mental health.

Maria Gonzalez | South

Maria works for the Tasmanian Health Service-South in the Community Rehabilitation Unit (CRU)- an outpatient service working with adults with neurological conditions and other disabling impairments

Maree Collins | North West

Maree has worked for over 30 years in practice settings including acute and community based public mental health, private mental health, vocational rehabilitation and community health. She currently works for the Aged Care Assessment Team and as a Witness Intermediary for the Department of Justice.
