Occupational Rehabilitation

Occupational therapists often work within workplaces to assist individuals in their ability to meet the functional necessities to complete their work, supporting both their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Occupational therapists work within the government, private and insurance sector to assist in the prevention of workplace injuries, and plan strategies for a successful return to work after an injury or illness (physical and/or mental health).

Occupational therapists also work with people with long term disability and illness who may never have entered the workforce to plan and assist with entry into work and support requirements for work.
