NSW Health Seeking Contact Tracers

The Central Contact Tracing Team at NSW Health has two new Expressions of Interest open, this opportunity would be suitable for occupational therapists and students.

The Contact Tracing team is responsible for contacting people who may have been in close contact with those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. The purpose of the contact tracer is to conduct a risk assessment, provide information and advice, and to support and engage the contact during their isolation period. The Team operates 7 days a week over two shifts (8.30 am – 4:00 pm and 2.30 pm – 10:00 pm). Work is onsite in St Leonards.

The Close Contact Tracer role is suitable for occupational therapists and students whilst the  Closer Contact Tracing Clinical Nurse / Allied Health Professional  role requires a qualified occupational therapist or other health professional.
