WRIST REHABILITATION AND PAIN MANAGEMENT OF THE UPPER LIMB 

Presented by Jennifer Mathias and Emmeline Fooks, the recorded webinar will give participants skills to perform an accurate assessment and be able to guide a treatment plan for patients presenting with common wrist problems. 

Surface anatomy skills will be taught to assist with patient diagnosis. 

Participants will gain an understanding of the important principles required to assess patients experiencing chronic pain, and learn how to devise appropriate treatment plans for these patients. 

SUITABLE FOR?

Suitable for new graduates, early career and intermediate level Practitioners.

Please note; this course is not suitable for students or advanced practitioners.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This course  will give you the skills to identify and diagnose chronic pain including CRPS. You will develop your clinical reasoning skills to be able to determine the appropriate wrist assessment required, and how to provide a comprehensive treatment plan. 

PRESENTER

Jennifer Mathais

Jennifer has specialised in Hand and Upper Limb rehabilitation for over 25 years. She has cemented her knowledge by completing post graduate studies, participating in research projects, and being the co-author of medical journals. She now enjoys lecturing and doing presentations to Surgeons, GP’s and graduating therapists. 

Emmeline Fooks

Emmeline has specialised in Hand and Upper Limb rehabilitation since graduating in 1999. She has cemented her knowledge by completing post graduate subjects in hand therapy, participating in research projects, and being an active member of the AHTA. She now enjoys lecturing and doing presentations to Surgeons, GP’s and graduating therapists.
