Hello, My name is Patrick Hefferan and I'd like to thank you for checking out my website. I'm glad that you're here because this means that you're open to the possibility that just maybe there's someone out here who can help you. And I'm here because I've spent the last ten years learning how best to help people a lot like you. You're smart to want to know a little about the person that you're hoping will be able to understand what you're going through and, of course you'd like to know whether or not they have the experience and the ideas that you're looking for. My clients tell me that I am an empathic listener, a keen observer, and a calming presence. I bring a warm smile, a curious, gentle, friendly manner, a ready laugh, and an healthy self into my therapy sessions everyday. I sincerely care about the people I work with and work hard to create a warm and trusting environment for clients of all ages. Forming and nurturing relationships is my strength. It is within the context of healthy relationships that emotional and mental healing most easily occurs. I am passionate about combining diverse resources and therapeutic tools in working with clients with ADHD, impulse control and internet addiction, anxiety, stress reduction, grief & trauma. My primary focus and training includes cognitive behavioral therapy for technology and internet compulsions and addiction I am trained to facilitate treatment for internet and technology compulsions and addictions including gaming, online pornography, gambling, shopping, face-booking, cyber relational, and web surfing. I am an experienced, fully licensed, Nationally Certified counselor and psychotherapist. I have been helping clients find better solutions for almost ten years and I'm confident I can help you, too. |
